Stratpharma AG, a Swiss-based global leader specializing in innovative topical medical devices for enhancing Oncology Supportive Care, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Wound Care and Women’s Health, today announced the appointment of Jeff Wellman as the Chief Commercial Officer for North America, effective from October 1. 2023. Mr. Wellman will be based at the San Diego headquarters of the USA Subsidiary, Stratpharma Inc. Stratpharma’s global headquarters is situated in Basel, Switzerland. In a significant development, Mr. Wellman has also been appointed to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Stratpharma, Mr. Wellman held several leadership positions within the healthcare industry, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Golden State Biotech and holding Director positions at MiMedx, Organogenesis, MTF Biologics (ConMed), and ACell Inc. (recently acquired by Integra Life Sciences). Mr. Wellman has also served as an external consultant for various M&A consulting firms in the Life Sciences sector.

Mr. Wellman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU-Hawaii University, where he played on the school’s collegiate Men’s Water Polo Team.  He has also completed postgraduate studies at Western Governors University and previously served a mission for the LDS Church in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
